Pretreatment Processes

  • Coolants, waste oils, and oily waters are pretreated via chemical means, physical separation and ultra-filtration technologies.
  • Heavy metal wash waters, adhesive waters, inks, dyes, and non-oily wastewaters are teated with chemical adjustments, flocculants, and mechanical and physical separation technologies.
  • Leachate waters from industrial waste landfills are treated through physical separation to remove any coarse solids and then adjusted for pH.
  • Sludges (waste waters w/>35% solids) are process through a filter press or solidified in United's solidification process.
